Our team brings together real homeschool experience, decades of Texas campus leadership, corporate training and leadership development, DISC-based communication, LMS platform development, and parent-focused service design. That combination is intentional — because families need more than academic insight.
TeachSmart was built by parents, guided by educators, and designed for families. Our team brings together real homeschool experience, decades of classroom and school leadership, professional training, leadership development, DISC-based communication, curriculum support, business systems, and parent-focused service design.
That combination matters. Families need academic insight, but they also need structure, communication, documentation, confidence, and practical tools they can actually use. We understand that because we have been on both sides of it — sitting in the principal’s office and sitting at the kitchen table.
TeachSmart combines educator-informed guidance with practical learning systems and parent-focused support. Our work is shaped by both education experience and real family experience, giving us a clear understanding of what parents need when they are trying to support their child’s progress.
“To give every parent the confidence, clarity, and support to guide their child’s education with purpose.”
Our VisionOur education advisor has spent over two decades in Texas public schools — from the classroom to campus leadership at both elementary and middle school levels. That experience shapes every TeachSmart service.
Our founder brings 20+ years as a corporate trainer and educator, John Maxwell certified facilitator, and DISC consultant — building the systems and communication frameworks that help parents navigate confidently.
Our family homeschooled their own kids — planning lessons, logging activities, navigating TEKS, and feeling exactly what homeschool parents feel every week. That experience is baked into every TeachSmart service.
Our founder has designed and built LMS platforms from the ground up — which means TeachSmart was engineered with a deep understanding of how learning systems actually work in practice.
When Texas launched the largest school choice program in U.S. history, we saw our moment. Texas families needed exactly the support our team had spent decades learning how to deliver — and TeachSmart was built to serve all of them.
Every person behind TeachSmart brings direct, lived experience — not just credentials, but classrooms, campuses, training rooms, and kitchen tables.
Our founder brings over 20 years of experience as a corporate trainer and educator — designing learning systems, facilitating leadership development, and building the kind of structured, practical frameworks that help people move from confusion to confidence.
As a John Maxwell certified facilitator and DISC consultant, he brings a communication and coaching lens to everything TeachSmart delivers. That shows up in how our services are structured, how feedback is framed, and how we talk to parents — not as students to be corrected, but as capable leaders of their child’s education.
He has also designed and built LMS platforms from the ground up, which means TeachSmart was built by someone who understands how learning systems actually work — and how they fail. As a homeschool parent himself, he built TeachSmart from the inside out.
Our education advisor is a sitting campus administrator with over two decades in Texas public education, including experience leading both elementary and middle school campuses. She brings active, ground-level insight into curriculum, compliance, and student progress — the kind of insight that only comes from still being in it every day.
Her experience spans every level of campus leadership — from instructional coaching and curriculum design to IEP oversight, parent communication, and school improvement planning. She has built and led programs that moved struggling campuses to top-rated status, and she understands what high expectations look like in practice.
Because she remains active in Texas public school administration today, TeachSmart stays grounded in what Texas classrooms, TEKS standards, and campus expectations actually look like right now — not a decade ago.
Every TeachSmart service has been reviewed and stress-tested with input from active Texas educators, campus administrators, and homeschool families. Our team’s professional network — built across decades in Texas schools and training rooms — provides ongoing feedback that keeps our services grounded in what actually works for Texas families today.
Our family homeschooled their own children. We planned the lessons. We logged the activities. We worried about whether we were covering enough TEKS. We felt the weight of being both the parent and the teacher — and we understand it in a way that no outside observer can.
That experience is baked into TeachSmart at every level — from how we talk to you, to how we design our services, to the fact that we built learning records and documentation as a core service because we know that’s the thing keeping home-educating parents up at night.
TeachSmart is designed specifically for parents and guardians. We support the adults making education decisions at home — with useful feedback, clear next steps, organized records, and trusted support.

Core services built from lived experience — writing, curriculum, assessment, learning records, and IEP support
The best educational support comes from educators who understand how students learn. Every decision we make starts with what’s best for the child and the parent guiding them.
You are not a subscriber. You are an educator making one of the most important decisions of your child’s life. We treat you with the respect that deserves — as a partner.
We don’t offer a national product with a Texas checkbox. TeachSmart was built around Texas TEKS standards, Texas family needs, and the specific challenges Texas families face every week.
The families who need support most — special education families, rural families without tutoring access, first-time homeschoolers — are exactly who we built this for.
